Website copywriting for a Melbourne tax and accounting firm with a difference

Shelly from By the Bay Tax and Accounting in Melbourne contacted me in 2019. Having been in business for several years, By the Bay was growing and expanding – exciting! – and Shelly felt her website no longer represented her or her business in an authentic way.

Shelly didn’t feel she could achieve the objectivity and clarity needed to write a website that really spoke to her target audience. She also wanted to inject more personality and clearly articulate her value proposition.

I was up for the copywriting challenge.

Copywriting Services Provided

  • This was a 3-page SEO website copywriting project for an established small business in Melbourne.

The Outcomes Achieved

  • Shelly was thrilled with the outcome, a website that truly reflects her approach to tax and accounting and also speaks to her ideal clients.

I knew I needed
Emma to assist.

I had written my own copy for my first website (as you do when starting a business). The business expanded and I needed a new site with more personality. I couldn’t bear to attempt writing about myself or my services as my customers see them. I knew I wouldn’t achieve the tone and message I wanted to convey. I knew I needed Emma to assist.

Emma was very personable. She understood the reality of life as a business owner, and I could hear her passion and desire for helping small businesses when she spoke. I was confident she would achieve the message I wanted to send. I was very time poor and Emma made every effort to work within my capabilities, such as phone briefings and copy feedback sessions. It was these phone calls that made all the difference to the process and I really appreciated them. Thank you, Emma!
