remote marketing support

For remote marketing support, fling your copy overwhelm my way

Your marketing or communications team is overstretched. There’s no use beating around the bush. It’s like Christmas in your office where all the presents (I mean, projects) seem to come at once. So, it’s not so much festive times as stressful times.

Maybe you don’t have enough consistent work to take on another permanent team member. What if you could use a familiar and reliable copywriter for project-based or ad hoc remote marketing support?

Now that makes a lot of sense. And the best bit? I can handle it.

You’re ready to hop off the hamster wheel

You want time to map out the bigger picture stuff. To sit with your ideas for a little bit. To develop projects that have been on the backburner, ready for you to get to when you have more time.

Except you never do.

Imagine if you had a copywriter for remote marketing support so you could:

  • Get some of the day-to-day copy tasks off your plate.

  • Get a fresh perspective on a project or a final objective look.

  • Brief a project and trust in the outcome.

TELL ME WHAT YOU NEED

Let’s work together to ease the squeeze on your resources and get some great results.

Here are some ways I can help your team:

Develop a tone of voice (TOV) guide

Develop or implement an existing content marketing strategy

Write marketing materials from SEO-optimised websites to email sequences

Emma met our expectations
and wrote to a high standard.

We required a writer to assist with our premier community publication InStonnington when Council’s Comms Department needed more resources. We found Emma to be great to work with. She was easy to contact and responsive, understood our needs and those of Council (procedures, protocols, structures, website), and has a quick turn-around on content. Emma met our expectations, wrote to a high standard, completed work according to schedules and deadlines, and to our corporate style.

Remote marketing support is perfect for:

  • Time-poor marketing or communications teams who need regular or ad-hoc copywriting support they can trust.
  • Teams who’d love the flexibility and assistance of a remote team member.
  • Tackling those large documents or projects that have done the rounds internally and need fresh eyes, clarity or a final proofread.

Our work together could look like:

  • One-off project support
  • Regular copy gigs
  • A retainer arrangement.

From one team player to another, I get it.

You can count on me to share the load. With a background in teaching, I spent more than a decade working in and leading teams. Since then I’ve worked as a remote copywriter for teams in local government, corporate, edtech, higher education, health, NFP and more.

I’m experienced working with existing style guidelines and responding to shifting priorities. Deadlines? They have my total respect.

Your questions, answered.

The beauty of a remote copywriter is I can support teams based all across Australia. If you happen to be based in Melbourne, and there’s no global pandemic preventing it, it’s possible. Please note, any face-to-face meetings or work days will be subject to additional travel time costs. After all, we can all do a lot via Zoom these days!

Like many other copywriters, I don’t typically charge by the hour. Instead I charge per project (once we’ve had a chat to explore the brief) or you can ‘buy my day’.

Sure. I set aside a number of days each month that are up for grabs. If you want to get your hands on one, it means a full day – 7 hours – of my full attention and focus on your project. Plus, we’ll have a call before the day to set everything up and make sure we’re on the same page. Currently, you can ‘buy my day’ for $797 + GST.

In the past I’ve run workshops with teams on implementing brand tone of voice. Being a former teacher (performing arts, no less), designing and delivering workshops is something I enjoy. Get in touch and let me know what you’re thinking.

I would definitely
work with
Emma again.

I engaged Emma to write social ad copy for a new local area marketing initiative. She was able to provide excellent content in a timely fashion, to the delight of our office. Emma grasped the expectations of the task promptly and was a clear communicator throughout the process. I would definitely work with Emma again and recommend her copywriting services to others.
